Even if you are using cannabis to CURE your CANCER, have a prescription/recommendation, and live in a state with both medicinal and recreational use, cannabis use can cost you your job.
My solution, a very small prescription for Marinol/dronabinol (if you can get it) to explain away any positive THC testing. Well, at least that's my solution while we try to get cannabis removed from Schedule 1 (illegal with no medical use and high abuse potential; despite pure THC being C3, the same as Vicodin, moderate potential for abuse).
Cannabis is 100% safe. In the last 10,000 years, ZERO deaths have been attributed to cannabis.
According to the CDC, alcohol caused 134,934 deaths in 2001 alone! In 2001, alcohol killed 75,754 moderate and high consumption users. Low consumption did have some people due to beneficial health benefits, so the NET deaths (lives lost minus lives saved) were 59,180.
Alcohol causes Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, but cannabis does no such thing.
Withdrawal from alcohol can KILL!
Withdrawal from cannabis is so mild that even many heavy users don't notice it.
